Crack Filling

At Classic, we clean out the crack, and heat up blocks of rubber to 400° until is liquefies. Next, we fill in the cracks, preventing water getting down in the crack—which can cause a driveway to sink, contract, or heave in the cold winters. Lastly, we apply an anti-tack sand to remove stickiness and enable sealcoat to adhere properly.

Asphalt Repairs

Anyone that knows about working with asphalt realizes that the hotter the asphalt, the better it packs and smoother the finished product. That's why we invested in the Falcon Hot Box, where we have complete control of increasing the temperature. After a repair is done and brought back to grade, on the edge of repairs we use hot rubberized crack filler to lock the seam down and avoid crumbling of asphalt, which also gives more longevity (over the competitors).

Sealcoating

Sealcoating is designed to protect your driveway by filling the grain and creating a protective buffer zone to take the abuse by securing the top layer of asphalt stones on the driveway. We are trying to achieve a smooth surface, for less friction when turning tires on a hot day. The 1st and 2nd time, sealcoating is recommended by hand, with a squeegie to fill the grain. Thereafter, we can apply more product with the spray method.
